Indonesian Journal of Religion and Society

Indonesian Journal of Religion and Society (IJRS) is a peer review journal focusing on the interplay between religion and society and social theory and practice. The aim of the journal is to provide a site for cross-fertilisation among disciplines and perspectives on issues of current concern and to set them in their appropriate historical context. The journal encourages a comparative approach, with the intention of examining similarities and differences in the experiences of countries, regions and religions, in stability or in transition.

Contributions are welcomed from the fields of humanities, religion and social science such as political studies, sociology, law, anthropology and etch. Other studies related to the scope is welcomed. Articles concerning out of focus and scope do not fall within the journal’s remit.

Indonesian Journal of Religion and Society (IJSR) publishes original articles, theoritical perspective  and methodology article.
