Author Guidelines

A.    Manuscript General Requirement

  1. Written in English or Bahasa
  2. The length of manuscript is 4.500-7000 worlds (not included references)
  3. Prepared your manuscript using Indonesian Journal of Tourism and Leisure (IJTL) TEMPLATE
  4. The manuscript has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor)
  5. The manuscript file is in Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format (don’t use another format).
B.    Structure of Manuscript
  1. TITLE. The title of paper is max 12 words (english) or 15 words (Bahasa), without Acronym or abbreviation
  2. AUTHOR INFORMATION. Author information is Author(s) Name, Author(s) Affiliation, Author(s) Email.
  3. ABSTRACT. The length of Abstract is 150-200 words; No citation; State in the abstract a primary objective, research design/methodology, main outcomes/results, and conclusions.
  4. SECTION STRUCTURE. Authors are suggested to present their manuscript in the section structure: Introduction - Method - Results and Discussion – Conclusion
  5. REFERENCES. Expect a minimum of 15 references primarily with minimum 80% to journal papers. Use APA 6th style for your references

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
 

Copyright Notice

With the receipt of the article by Editorial Board of the Indonesian Journal of Tourism and Leisure (IJTL) and it was decided to be published, then the copyright regarding the article will be diverted to Indonesian Journal of Tourism and Leisure (IJTL).

Indonesian Journal of Tourism and Leisure (IJTL) hold the copyright regarding all the published articles and has the right to multiply and distribute the article under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. 

Copyright tranfer from the author to the journal is done through filling out the copyright transfer form by author. The form can be downloaded HERE.
